Can someone tell me the pros and cons for ladder and non-ladder?
Also, is it true that my chars on ladder get deleted when a ladder reset occurs?
Do skills/stats/gear stay the same but you get transferred to non-ladder?
What about with hardcore when you die?

i personally think theres more competition on ladder. more ppl play it. but along with more competition u get more of those annoying ppl who think u suck and call you an uber-noob. ladder is more fun in my opinion if u can get over the ppl that play it

Ladder is more fun in the sense that it is a race to see how far you get, can u get a teleporting hammerdin can u get your fathoms and CoH and what not.
Like me i had in ladder a perfect hammerdin with all perfect gear
Non-Ladder is for the people who want to compete with items that dont exist any more and hacked items that shouldnt be on the d2 server at all so unless you are uber old in d2 and rich you can not compete in non-ladder.

i never play nonladder. i like the challenge of starting over again after a reset.

Ladder characters just go to non-ladder when it resets.
Ladder= ladder chart, ladder only runewords and items and the occasion reset every few years.
Non-ladder= Fewer, more expensive ladder only's, Legit B-tals, Fletchs, Sspurs and other 0.8 items. No ladder chart
Good things about both, I personally think the ladder chart is very arbitrary.

That makes sense, all I know is the duels on non ladder suck ass. Anywhere I can find priv non ladder duels perhaps? I don't have the gear to duel on ladder yet but I do miss dueling and the pub games just suck ass. Also if anybody here is interested in some friendly duels on non ladder PM me. I don't steal gold or NK, just like to duel.

ladder also has hax. the entire east realm use mods and hacks.
