PVP Orb Sorc - Energy Shield Question

When making a PVP Orb Sorc(according to Popular's guide), why do you want to max Telekinesis instead of using all the points into Energy Shield? What sort of bonuses does Telekinesis exactly give?

telekinesis reduces the damage dealt to your mana. actual points have to be invested, unlike es, which can be gotten with prebuff items. that is why you must max telekinesis before es.

It is just a better synergy than actually maxing ES, just like maxing bone wall is better than maxing bone armor.

The max level for Energy Shield is 40. Meaning it will absorb 95% of the damage dealt to your hp to your mana instead. The ratio at which the damage is converted depends on points spent in Telekinesis. The base ratio is 200% which is like 2:1. So with no points into Telekinesis every health damage point converted spends 2 mana. Each point spent into Telekinesis decreases that ratio by 6.25%, bringing it down to 100% ratio which is 1:1 at level 16. So put hard skill points into Telekinesis until it is 16 because I believe that is max.

Edit: Level 20 Telekinesis is the max. It will only losing .75 mana per hp absorbed hit.

I though if you reached 20 hard points it was a .75 to 1 ratio?

Instead of Vita add energy, no max block, no str, just nrg ull get +1k base mana ^^

That's been done before but mana burns will become a big nuisance. If you were mana burned and had no mana you will die pretty easily.
