Vmware Loading D2 Lag

I have gotten Vmware working. But a problem that arises is when Mmbot switches cd keys, D2 will load very slow. When it finally launches, it goes into a turbo mode where I'm assuming it was done and I am finally seeing it. Like it will talk to malah go to frigid in approximately 5 seconds, but then fails while killing. My D2 doesn't open slow if I click the D2 icon on Vmware. Only when it is being loaded by the bot. Does anybody know of a fix?
