Stings Maphack Error

Can't create toolhelp32 snapshot of process 2976 (seems random), err=5
I am running Windows XP Pro, running D2 from the CD, and have tried just about everything short of reformatting to try and fix this. Any ideas what could cause this/how to fix it?

Try redownloading it. If you got it from a different site, try another.
