Today I installed the v96 Hero Editor, but ran into a bit of a problem while trying to run it
I click Start>Programs>Hero Editor>Hero Editor V96 but when the program starts, all it does is keeps trying to run the Microsoft Office Premium Installer!
Anyone know what the hell is going on?

the shortcut that you are clicking on in the startmenu could be directing you to that file. go to Start>Programs>Hero Editor>Hero Editor V96 and then right click on it. then click properties. check to see that it is targeting where ever you installed Hero Editor.

Nope. It's pointing in the right direction, it's just that the Hero Editor program's just a spawn program for a fake Windows Microsoft Office Installer!
Reinstalled it and everything. Ever time I run it I have to open up the Task Manager to manually end the program, because it keeps spawning the fake installer program.
My rating on the v0.96 Hero Editor? 0/10
If someone can point me in the right direction for getting the actual program? that'd be great.

im assuming that you got it from here.
thats odd, b/c i dont think anyone else has complained about it. have you tried other editors?

no, Hero Editor was my first attempt at having an editor, but I'm still quite baffled at why it would be doing this..
do you recommened any other editors other than Hero?

if u cant get hero editor to work, "which works fine"
try Udie2 editor its a bit more user friendly.
