Atreyu... These guys call themselves "vampcore" and have this song on the radio that sounds like they are trying to play "Raining Blood" on guitar but in a sort of extended and emo fashion. It is like if Tom Arraya started cutting himself and Kerry King sucked more than he already does on the axe and if Dave Lombardo left (again). It is terrible.
Cradle of Filth... These clueless douche-bags dare to try to be black metal, which they are not. Black metal is Scandinavian and these British ****s probably have no clue how much they disgrace the genre... Not that I like it in the first place, I just respect it.

That is the way I percieve new rap... I like rap like NWA, Ice T, and Public Enemy; but I do not get into the mainstream radio hip-hop flavor of the week. I dislike it because of what it is about.

Good Charlotte. These guys listed Bad Religion as a major "influence" in their music. I fail to see any comparison. All it is is music for 12 year old girls.
Green Day. I never saw anything special about these guys even when people say that "Dookie" is good, which it isn't IMO. These guys came out with a record a few years ago called "American Idiot" and they have always tried to sound like brits when they are indeed from the USA. These guys are obviously not proud of their heritage and deserve to be deported to the nearest third world African country to see how "shitty" the USA really is. Disrespecting your country is not activism it is just unintelligent. Eyeliner and activism don't mix anyways.

Most rap that is played on the radio is just generic garbage aim towards kids. Not saying I don't like certain artists but if it's recent and played on the radio, it probably sucks.
Please, lets not mis-categorize genres....the 'emo' music you hear on the radio is not 'emo' at all and is in fact 'pop punk'.
