...And Justice For All era Metallica... And anything after that.
There is no bass on ...And Justice For All, and everything after that is not metal. If you argue this, you are blind.

Please don't get me wrong....techno is a very different way and a electronic way of making music. It may be more to the effort but there's nothing like a symphony or just good old 6 string. All music has beauty to it.

As technology advances, so does everything else. There are new ways to make music then ever thought by people past. You can make multitudes of different sounds using computers. Techno is not really a genre. Techno in itself has different genres. When someone says they listen to techno it doesn't really answer the question what kind of music you listen to.

Yeah its really broken down into sub-genres. I cant stand the dance and stuff like that. I like more the industrial side where its like hard rock and techno intertwined. More like the nine inch nails stuff. Like siris said techno is more like how the music is made.

True industrial is what it says on the tin.
Loud noises usualy recorded in abandoned factories and very mechanical fast repetition of sounds.

Metalhead Steve Wrote:The quote about that song was a joke. But seriously listen to it and tell me its not about that lol.
it probably is about meth mites, but i'm not a meth user so it never really clicked with me. plus, when hybrid theory came out i was a lot younger. hybrid theory is an awesome album any way you look at it. the sound is unique, writing is superb (i don't care if you LIKE the message of the song or not, it's good writing) and nobody has done anything remotely close to it. look at a song like in the end, those verses are crazy.
i think people form hasty opinions on music they don't give the time of day.

I dont care for AC/DC all that much. Its not that I think the band sucks or they don't have talent, its just that I find the music to be extremely repetitive. Although I do enjoy listening to some old AC/DC during the Bon Scott era, Brian Johnson sounds to me like a cat with its testicles stuck in a pair of vise grips. Sure they are one of the pioneers of metal and rock today but after hearing any of their later albums, I walk away feeling like i payed a hooker $500 to kick me in the nuts.
