Hmm....just started trying to make my own site...well wont tell ya the site's name until it's done...(btw its free web hosting)
I just need some help with the dreamweaver mx to upload the HTML codes in made in the dreamweaver into my site....but i have not much idea on how to use it...
I know u might be calling me a noob...trying to make a site without some knowledge at all....but i am trying to start off as a noob...before transforming into a pro next time....
I am just wondering if there's any tutorial for it...(a good site with all infos)..
Cos i have troubles trying to makes links and stuffs...

Dreamweaver is a right tosser to use at times. If you don't know what your doing that much, consider using FrontPage, it's much better. The only reason I ever use Dreamweaver is if I want to integrate a flash menu or something.

Shocking! It comes with Microsoft Office. Download Office 2003 Professional, and I'll sort you out with the cracks and keys. Naturally, I don't support this. *hides from Microsoft*

Give FireworksMX a try. Make your design in that, slice where you want your text boxes to go, then export it to HTML and you've got your template.

man....i am opening tons of programs...dreamweaver,frontpage,fireworks....ahh...just to test everything out....
And i know this is a noobish question...whats template...

lol thats the best way to learn. Thats how I learned anyway, and even though I suck, if you have a gift for it, you'll pick it up straight away.

i have a gift for it.. i learned html in 3 days (BY MYSELF)! and i learned php (simple php) in 4 days .. a template is a pic like .. http://megagaming.net/test thats a template i made

Personally, I think fireworks is better for layouts. But kudos on learning how to use Dreamweaver.
www.allisurd.net/gold is an example of what you can do with fireworks.

Hmm...my second sis(who learnt site making in school) prefers dreamweaver to fireworks...although fireworks is easier to comprehend but dreamweaver is better in terms that we can making better stuffs with dream..

Thats up for debate. Fireworks is more artistic than Dreamweaver, but Dreamweaver is far more technical. The idea is to use both. Make your design in Fireworks, then export it to HTML, and edit it with either FrontPage or Dreamweaver.

the technical side is easy, you can look that up on places like java.com. The hard bit is the creative aspect.

dreamweaver the number 1 pain in the *** there is on computers. Get microsoft fp 6.0 its like 50 bucks so much cheaper and a lot easier.

Use FP6 and you'll have to personally remove my harpoon from your chest. Download Office Pro 2003 and I'll sort you out with a key.
