Get DOTA at: Official DotA Allstars Downloads
It seems that i've stumbled onto a dusty section of this forum and i'll be glad to update it. Seeing as this sections last post is just about as old as my own. I haven't had much time to spend playing diablo since the last time the ladder restarted I kind gave up seeing as they cut me off right before my hdin hit 99. So i've started another side addiction and that being the wonderful world of dota. Every game takes somewhere between 40 minutes and an hour and it isn't nearly as grinding as spending a few hours doing mf runs praying to Diablo to give you a CoA. Anyways... with all of that in mind... dota is definately something worth trying if you have the time. And it makes an amazing LAN game.
I think the last post was for a version 1.21 or something along those lines... Theres been quite a bit of updating on the DOTA.
6.49b is the newest version available for play
If you havent played since the last post here... well then I have to take a minute to fill you in...
Roshan is different...
There is a bit of new heros... and a lot of the old heros have been modified
You can change the terrain and the weather on the map... not very special
A lot of new items... including two new item shops
