Problem is i have a supreme level masked as a regular level and i cant host or join games unless diabolic is running. However i know of other masked supremes that have no problems. So... am i missing some sort of required file, or is there something similar to mitjas high lvl fix from .09? How do i fix this.

Reason i care is because having to run diabolic helps my opponents since my char is already edited correctly before i join the game. Also this enables them to use showlevel and discover im not actually level 18~

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

and when i try to host a game d2 crashes

when i try to join a game i fail to join

if i install diabolic everything works fine

i dont want to use diabolic

i know theres other people that are supreme levels that can join and host without diabolic

u have to use Diabolic but ive never had this prob .. if u like supremes go to http://d2haven.net/ and sign up for thier server (its 1.09 >.< )

ok whatever u say .. u asked for help. diabolic has a High level fix built in... ... ... and u do have to. u can turn off diabolic .. but too bad ur too much of a ****ie for that.. :mad:

I know you dont like to use dibolic, but you can turn off editing for others if you are the host. I dont know how to keep them from doing the level check. Sorry this isnt more help.

If you want to join a 1.10 game using an Elite 1.09D character, then most levels are not stable -- which is probably your problem. It sounds like you are out of luck for your present level. (Besides, using a 1.09D Elite or Supreme read-only character in a 1.10 game is considered lame by most people.)

In 1.09D games, there was a high level fix that allowed pretty much any level to be used without errors. Before the 1.09D high level fix, your present 1.09D character would probably have the same problem in 1.09D games.

So, consider yourself fortunate that you can even use your 1.09D Elite in a 1.10 game using Diabolic.

BTW, have you considered using the version reverser to allow you to use your 1.09D character to make and join 1.09D games on Open B.Net? If not, look it up in the 1.09D forums at Ladder Hall.
