Ice Silver Edition. It came with "Daxter" and the "Family Guy: Freakin Sweet Collection" UMD's. Spent like 40$ on a badass case too. Can't wait till friday to get Socom Big Grin

Be careful with that dude, one drop on a hard floor and it is gone.

Should have picked up a DS Lite instead, I've had loads of fun modifying them up in the past, but sold mine off not to long ago and bought my 4th Xbox instead.

There are what 2 or 3 good games on DS? No thank you. I'm 18 years old, I don't want to play a system aimed to 10 year old kids. My PSP will do much more than a DS will anyways.

Are you sure? I used my DS as a MP3 player, video-player, voip phone (DS has built in mic), audio-sequencer, web-browser, MSN client, FTP client and server, e-mail client, IRC client, SNES and NES emulator, Flash game-player, current-gen gaming system, day organizer and calendar, thanks to a $50 flash-card I place in the cartridge-slot.

Before you say "My PSP can do all of that!" remember that the DS makes everything incredibly easier and more convenient by having a touch-screen as a keyboard. Oh yeah! And don't forget the DS costs less then 3/4 that of a PSP.

And before I wrap this shit up, I want to elaborate on when you said this... "I'm 18 years old, I don't want to play a system aimed to 10 year old kids." It seems as if your much more concerned of what peers will think of you after seeing you play a DS then how much fun you actually will be having. Here are the games that saw most play-time on my DS: Final Fantasy 3, Chrono Trigger, Tony Hawk Proving Grounds, Need for Speed Pro-Street, Resident Evil, Dementium: The Ward, Super Mario World, Super Mario All-Stars, Super Mario 64, and Brothers in Arms. I would go as far as to say these are all great games for t he DS. I was able to sit down and have fun with these games irregardless of who they were intended to be enjoyed by, as I play games for fun, not so peers will think of me a certain way.

Mario got old in 1995... Sony came out and it took a few years but they created IP's that can never be matched by Nintendo. I don't want to play remakes of games, and from what I have seen nearly none of the games take full advantage of both screens. The only games I would really play on DS are the Castlevania games because that is one game that is done great. Every single handheld Castlevania game I have played since the GBA has been great, but now I'm not going to spend a whole bunch of money just to play the 2 or 3 CV titles out on DS.

I would much rather be playing Socom, SWBFRS, MGSTongueO, CV: Dracula X Chronicles (Yes, yes, I know it is a remake), or God of War when it comes out. That is the truth.

I guess if you are STILL into Mario and childishly simplistic gameplay go with the DS, but if you are looking for grown up games for grown ups... Buy a PSP.

I've held that new version before. But doesn't it feel like its too light and made out of very cheap plastic? =X

Thanks for disregarding absolutely everything I had said and continuing to rant on about how Mario is for kids, and is the only game for Nintendo DS.

Give up, if it isn't supporting his own point, he usually won't read it.

BTW, I am getting a PSP.
