2 diablo in 1com, will i get banned?

guys i have a normal diablo icon and a d2loader both with diff cd keys on my computer. (1 computer) i was rushing my hdin with my sorc in the same game and the d2loader keeps disconnecting. can u guys tell me whats happening? it says my game got interrupted. both different accounts.. will i get banned if blizz finds out?

I have never heard of anyone getting banned for JUST using d2loader. However if you use d2loader and another hack, then you could possibly get banned.

(I have been using d2loader since it came out and have not been banned/warned once)

D2Loader will not get you banned. Blizzard allows the use of this program on battle.net.
However, using D2Loader and a hack such as a detected maphack or any other detected third-part program will get you banned.

It can possibly be your connection being interrupted by something or your computer not being able to handle it.

If u use 2 d2 windows at the same time "on" the same account, 1 window will get connection interrupted everytime. If u use 2 d2 windows with diffferent accts on each, then you wont have that problem.

d2 multitool is the solution. no ban. no multiple installs. just mpq files and multiple shortcuts

If you mean the same CD-Key than no, you can not be on the same cd-key.

thats not true. i have used two characters from the same account before without any problems. the trick is to create a game first and join it, then log in with the other d2 loader, same account and everything, and then join the game

naaaah, i dont use d2loader anymore but i have multiple harddrives. i have 1 instance of diablo loaded on harddrive "A" and another separate cd-key installed on harddrive "B". they run fine on the same account. i do it constantly, either to rush myself, have an afk trade game, or the transfer items by myself. ive never had a problem with it. (not to mention if it wasnt stable there is no way id risk transferring gear this way )

I'm fairly certain it violates Blizzard's "Terms of Use" to use more than one CD-key, I may be wrong.

eh, well i dont get the idea on y ur connection is getting interrupted. neways, u should be fine it u use it the right way.

d2loader shouldnt get u banned and a lot of users who used d2loader havent been banned yet.

ugh, D2Loader will not get you banned. The creator of D2Loader talked to blizzard and it is allowed.

but why am i getting interruption when im trying to rush myself? i definitely am using 2 cd keys. it always happens when i didnt move another acc for like 1-2min.. its like when im chaosing then the other acc will get interrupted when i didnt move it in the game for 2 mins. is it sth to do with my ip add?

Do you have any idea of what your talking about? You can't connect to the same cd-key if you or someone else is already on it. Hence D2Loader, needing TWO sets of keys.

if you have 2 harddrives, that is the easiest option, and SHOULD fix your problem. if not then im thinkin the only things that may be messin with you are....

1. you dont have enough memory on your computer, and when you have 1 window up (the window you are using) your computer will put it on "high priority" and use up all primary virtual and physical memery on this window, leaving barely any for the other, resulting in a high FPS for the secondary window. in lamen's terms.... your computer focuses on the window ur chaosing or rushing with, making the other window run too slow. eventually resulting in bnet disconnecting you. (how much physical memory do you have on your computer??? this has nothing to do with harddrive space, if you dont know how to see how much you have, right click on your "My Computer" icon and go to properties. it will list your processor and speed, along with your physical memory. it will be somthing along the lines of xGb most likely....possibly xxxMb if you have an old computer. although i dont recall anytime bnet has disconnected me for too high of FPS... it is a possibility. (they do however, disconnect you for too high of latency. this brings me to the next option) let me know how much memory you have, and i will let you know how to fix any problems in this area.

2. the only other option i can think of at this time, other then a problem with d2loader itself, is your internet connection speed. do you know what type of connection you are using? if it is dial up, this is almost certaintly your problem....however, nowadays dialup is almost nearly non-exhistant, i would guess that perhaps you are using DSL.

the way a DSL connection works, is that your ISP (internet service provider) allows for a certain amount of bandwidth for your area. and with DSL connections specifically, the bandwidth is shared with your entire neighborhood. this can result in extremely slow connections during key points during the day (such as in the afternoon to evening.... 4pm-10pm). this is when most of the people use the internet due to most work schedules, which results in less bandwidth for you.....meaning slower internet speeds. SO to cut things short, if you are using dialup internet, or possibly a dsl connection, OR even a wireless connection, this may be your problem.

with slower internet connections you will have a higher Ping with battle net (ping is the time in milliseconds that it takes for your computer to communicate with the battle net servers). higher pings, mean lag. anything over 200ms is considered lag. try typing "/fps" while in game. this will bring up text in the top left of your screen showing the FPS, and Ping that the game is currently running at. each window might vary independantly (however it shouldnt be much of a variation). if your ping bounces anywhere from 300-600 or even up to 1600 and higher, this is why you are getting disconnects. a lasting lag will result in losing your connection with battle net.

look into both of these options and let me know what you find. i can help you further from there on out.

ive worked for a long time as tech support for windows/windows software, and all pc hardware so i usually can find a quick fix for problems like this. if it comes down to be a d2loader issue, it might be as simple as completely uninstalling d2loader, and deleting it all....and reinstalling to most up to date version available.

anyways, let me know! good luck
