Depends on your playstyle... Personally I recomend BoS because you can get resistances from items and such, so unless your trying to stack res, the r/w and IAS from BoS are worth more to me. I guess fade is better if you are an "up close" player. If you are more evasive though BoS is great.

I played this evening wrestling with this very decision and finally decided on fade.
Metalhead Steve is right in that it really depends on playing style, and though I am melee'ing with a assassin, I had anticipated more leeching benefits from the ias portion of bos, r/w notwithstanding, then, after repeated observation, I really didn't see any noticable difference compared to my last attempt to refine this build, but rather, I realized there is a great opportunity cost going by the wayside if I don't use fade. Using fade I can discard and replace res charms with more damage and/or mana ( not stacking res for ubers or anything like that),....while it also seems that a lot of elite unique items offer up very little resistance, if any, and I hate giving up great attributes to wear a less desirable pair of boots or gloves for safety sake. I've been forced to wear res items all too often. It's always a trade off! Blizz gives with one hand and takes away with the other!!! Thanks you guys. This really was a dilemma for a while and I have high hopes for this version of a dual claw/trapper hybrid.
i say fade for all elemental characters, and when u need the dr vs melee chars then bos for basically any others like pallys

It really depends on equipment.Enigma, bramble, fortitude:use fade, coh:use Bos.Actually, any equip that stacks resists to gold level in hell, you should use bos.1 point in each, plus skill boosts from equip and charms should be sufficient for most builds, but feel free to dump as many points into either,as playing style dictates.

depends what equip you plan to wear.
I'd just go with fade, you always need resists. tho when you have fade, I like to key bos to a key so i can switch from attacking a sorc to a barb ... just an example.

Here is the answer:
Burst of speed: Will only increase you a few more percent speed. Not much help. Fade: Has a bit more resist for stacking. Reduce curse time like lifetap, partially or fully stops the effect of elemental resistance reduction skills like as Conviction, Cold Mastery, Lower Resist. Passive physical damage reduction 1% per point invested. At level 35 Fade, it gives 35% damage reduction. Trust me. I made Trapsins for two seasons. I've actually only played 2 or 3 seasons and I got so good. =D Edit: I also believe you need hard skill points for the damage reduction. The +skills from armor, will be more than enough to get your Burst of Speed to a high enough level. At higher levels, two skill points to it may only get 1% speed boost. Whats 1% speed boost going to do? What about 5%? Catch my drift?

Burst of speed:

Your right, it does increase a few percent... at first skill point
now add that up the +skill from items. That would put it up at maybe 14 or so? So thats probably like what 25 frw? Not sure if thats true but hey 25 is a lot especially if you already got some 30 frw boots . |
