Color Hack??

i know there is a hack to make your game names have color... so can some 1 tell me what i should d/load in order to do this?? ty guys

There is, you can do it with hex editor, but this is easy to use:

The "-" will be "ÿ".
After you run the program, go in Diablo II (use D2Loader and your window title should be Diablo II).
In the game name spot type "-c1" for red etc., and after that your own text. For example "-c1game".

I don't think I'll have to post the color codes.

You have to copy + paste it, Angelfire doesn't allow direct linking.

Are you using D2Loader?
Also add -title "Diablo II" to your shortcut.
Start Diablo, run the .exe and go back to Diablo.

Tht hack is to mak colour game names...

It changes the title of your d2 window.

so i add -title to the very end? i have the hack patch in my hackit folder... when i load hackit do i have to load the patch also, or does it do that simotaniously *cant spell:/*

it also runs with D2 Hack it.. i uised d2 hack it and it worked with out D2 Loader.

ohh u need d2 loader also? so i need to put the "Patch" file in to my Plugin folder?

wow the last time i saw that hack was in early 1.09 u sure it isn't patched?

not patched at all.

- You can just keep the .exe in your desktop, it still works.
- Add -title "Diablo II", to end of your shortcut, for example: "C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -w -title "Diablo II" (don't mind about the -w, it's for windowed mode, and not needed)
- open d2
- run the .exe
- type -c and the number, before the game name, for example -c1 is for red (- acts like ÿ)

when i open the patch all that happens is a black screen pops up and closes just as fast... does this mean its working?

It does. Just try to type -c1game in the gamename screen, for example.
