The Life Tap ability will once again return to its previous one-is-to-one ratio of health-to-mana conversion. This replaces the nerf given to it when the spell only converted a fixed percentage of mana according the level of the skill.
People were still wondering whether Blizzard Entertainment still has any plans of changing this setup before the actual 2.4 patch goes live. Fortunately, Blizzard Poster Kalgan was there to give their stand regarding the matter. This is what he had to say:
Locks are doing pretty well overall, but what had us worried was that it appeared to us a month ago or so as though warlocks were on an uptrend. However, the evidence is strong that that trend is reversing, which means significant nerfs aren't really what we want right now.
Kalgan mentioned that the amount of changes done to Warlocks have been more or less balanced throughout the different patches implemented so far and will hold steady for now. We'll just have to see if this trend will return the balance to the Warlocks considering the other changes the devs have implemented with other classes.
