Forums, especially popular ones, have a way of getting saturated with threads. Sometimes there's so much that moderators often don't have time to reply to each one. Gamers often wonder if moderators were even able to go through the thread.
Now the World of Warcraft Forums is a very active one, and a lot of gamers often express their fears that moderators don't pay attention to certain threads. As a solution, gamer Schizzo proposed this in the forums:
You know those suggestion/idea posts that are constructive and encourage discussions that sometimes yield good points and hold merit? If Blizzard ever reads those could they like put a "Noted" tag on it or leave behind a short and brief message (could be even one word) that let's everyone know that its contents has been noted?
This will certainly reduce the amount of re-posts that many of us (including me) do because they want to increase their odds of Blizzard actually reading and acknowledging the problems and suggestions and it let's the community know that Blizzard really does listen.
Blizzard poster Nethaera replied to this not long after. Five minutes afterwards, in fact (which just proves the point that moderators are active, actually). His response was:
We've stated many times that we have been reading them and compiling feedback. We've also said that we didn't intend to post any further in those threads. We'll post any responses to said feedback if and when we have it for you though.
So that's it folks. Don't stress so much if the blues don't post as often as you'd want; the important thing is that they've read your input and feedback.
