How long is a ladder season

Though I've been playing Diablo for about 10 years now, I only first started playing ladder a year before the third season ended last June. I have no idea how long that season ran nor the two before it and have never seen any articles mention the typical time length of a season.

Can some one tell me what the average length of a season has been so far?

I have my best ladder season characters on the same account as my best characters from last season and kind of looking forward to the day when they all merge together onto non-ladder so I can exchange items between them all and continue to build the best of my best.

I've only been playing for maybe about three seasons. XD

It was usually a year or a year and a half. But now its almost like two years for the last reset to happen. And it only took me like a month to get godly.

i would say probably around a year

around 1.5-2 years, but it all comes down to when blizz decides to reset it. Could be a year or could be 3 years, we never know.

if they didn't care about d2 anymore, do you really think that would they still be paying for maintenance of the diablo 2 servers? for that matter, they would have gone offline years ago. yet they still have the servers up and running for diablo-I. to keep it interesting, they even gave us a 1.11 patch with the uber levels to keep us happy, and a new unique charm to accompany our lonely annihilus charms. sure there are hacks, bots, etc. so what? play the game for afew years, and move on with your life.

Yea no reasoning behind ladder resets I have seen them been dragged out to long in many cases by six months, Because people get uber but the blizzard leave to for to long and before you know it UsEast is a complete mess with all the duping and uber newbs.
