Wow it's been awhile.


Poem: Awaken
Why was I so blind
I knew all of this was on the inside
But I'm letting it wash away
And beginning a new chapter in this void

Why can't awaken
Can't I see
Can't I move
Can't I change

Why can't I push
or pull
or stand
or win

Once again my winter is about to begin
All of this is going to fall apart in my hands
Melt away like before
Nothing I can to stop it

NO!

I will change this
I will not concede to this fate
Once again I will stand
And push this winter away

I will pull her closer to me
Wipe away her tears
Make her loved again
Because I will stand again
And win this struggle

I have seen my will to move
I have stood before to change
This cold has no hold over my thoughts
I will push passed this illusion

And Awaken
