A little hypocritical don't you think? Wasn't that (from your keyboard at least) McCain's plan for the economy? Print more money?

I said no such thing, and I don't believe McCain has either. He's planing to stop all new spending and get rid of the programs we don't need. You know...rather than raising taxes.

Either way, Obama's got it won. I think McCain's already resigned himself to that fact, though not ******dly, obviously. We'll see in about 36 hours.

What the bejebus? o-u-t-w-a-r-d-l-y is the word that's bleeped. Wtf is o-u-t-w-a-r?

He's already won? Last I checked the polls are extremely close and in the last election they showed Kerry ahead and oh yeah...he lost. The problem with the polls is every election they say, "Man the youth turn-out is gonna be amazing!" and then all those college kids stay in with hang overs rather than vote.

The popular vote is relatively close, but the electoral college is not. Sure, I guess there could be some kids that don't go out and vote, but first-time voters don't play a huge part of the polling process, they take into consideration, mostly, those that have voted in the past.

McCain basically has to win all of the contested states and Pennsylvania. Not saying it's impossible, but it seems very unlikely.

And Obama has said in multiple interviews that he plans to go through the budget and nix the programs that we don't need. And that whole 3 million to study bear DNA... McCain voted for the bill that included it. (Though it possibly could've been a piggy-back, but still... why cite something you supported in any way?)

And I said it was a circus because I thought we were having kind of a debate here, and then you, all-of-the-sudden, turned into a **** and it pissed me off. And btw, I don't watch CNN all that much (though I do like Fareed Zakaria's GPS) and I certainly don't get my facts from there. Though I think there's a few FOX watchers in this thread.

But I guess we'll see who wins tomorrow. Though we'll never really know who would've done better, we'll get to see how the person that gets the spot does for the next 4 years. I just hope that person is Obama, but I won't be shocked to death if McCain pulls away with it. I just hope whoever it is does a good job.

How upset would you be if Obama won the popular vote, but lost the presidency to McCain? Big Grin And would you begin thinking there was a conspiracy?

When you revert to name calling in a debate that's just desperation. Besides, I thought you were done here?

I'll have some more fun though if you're up for it. I'll respond in my typical point-by-point fashion:

-Polls vary depending on what you look at and most have it fairly close. However, they aren't taking into account that a lot of younger people. who are registered, simply fail to show up a good majority of the time. I'm not just talking about first time voters here either.

-Obama has said he's going to cut some programs, being a Democrat which programs do you think he's most likely to cut? Defense programs? With all the new programs he wants he could stop the Iraq war completely on day one of his presidency and still come out in the negatives (This is considering revenue gained from his new taxes). He plans to spend three times what we're spending in Iraq. How the Hell is he going to get us out of debt, which is impossible in the first place?

-I don't watch Fox News, though it's refreshing that they wear their opinions out in the open rather than pretending to be unbiased.

-I'm challenging you, not insulting you. This is politics and it gets ugly so stop taking it so personally. If I wanted to insult you, I'm sure many can attest to this, I would have just done so.

I thought I was, because I was angry. But anyway.

I, not surprisingly I guess, like the CNN Poll of Polls, because it's an amalgamate of all the other polls, including Gallup (which have been doing this for a while), and 10 others for the national vote, and 3-4 or maybe more for individual states, and it shows Obama with an 8 point lead.

Still, it could be thrown at the last minute. I'm not leaving that totally out of the realm of possibility, and I don't think McCain is going to be the worst president ever, I just prefer Obama on a lot of stances.

I'm more comfortable with Obama cutting programs than McCain cutting programs, to be honest. I would rather have defense spending cut some than research and development or education or healthcare. That's just me.

That's also something that I like about Olbermann's approach. He's a complete anti-FOX, just as Democratic as FOX is Republican. He doesn't try to be anything more than an echo chamber and I dig that. Now if I were ONLY watching his show and nothing else, then that would be bad, but it's fun to see the adamantly Liberal side of things. When it comes to credibility, I would say MSNBC is more stuck to the liberal side than CNN. I think CNN has a variety of shows and pundits that come from all sides, but Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, and Keith Olbermann are all Obamanauts.

And I know. I tend to take things a bit too personally, even on the interwebz. I'm going to be happy after this election is over, because it seems like all I'm ever doing on the internet is researching issues anymore. I have to get back to more important things like WoW.

Lawl. I suppose going on raids and doing instances does outweigh the benefits of expanding your intellectual horizons.
