Item Levels with Hero Editor

Hallo Hallo

I cannot seem to figure out how to keep item levels as I set them with creating them in the Hero Editor.

As an example, I wanted to use Laricated (sp?) Mail for a set that I am trying to create. In the item creation windows I type in the level I want it to be used. I save it and place it in the character's inventory.

Load up the game and the item level is nowhere near what I set the item level at with Hero Editor.

Is there some other item level requirement editing I need to do?

Oh, I am running 1.11 LOD, Vista Ultimate 64bit.

I also could not get Hero Editor working with 1.11b, as I saw a previous post state. I just reinstalled the game and patched to 1.11 though, and all is well.

I think I have it figured out.
I was changing the quality of the item to "crafted" instead of leaving it at "superior".
I just created a couple of the same items and it did not add level restrictions at all.

That seems to work for the jewelry. But not armor/weapons.

Anyone know if there is additional level editing needed in the Hero Editor??

Trying to edit a new set for the low 20's, but when creating the items, it auto sets the level of the items in the high 60's. Even when I put in the item level as 0 in the Hero Editor.
