D2load problems

i know there are plenty of threads saying how to fix problems but for some reason none of their ideas work or aknowledge this problem. my d2loader right when i click on it i get the "hey guys we got a big problem here." error. like it wont go to anything. it just loads up and then right away gives me that error. any answers would be mostly appreciated.

It may not be installed right in your Diablo folder, check again. Also make sure you have the 1.12 version of it.

I have reinstalled d2loader like 10x now and checked if i am doing it correctly. i follow the guide exactly. it loads up and before i even get any screen... it just exits IMMEDIATELY and says "hey guys we got a big problem here" error. so i dont know what else to do. i'm running on vista. any ideas?

i read a thread about problems like this. i think its because you gotta remove all older utilities that you may use, like before v1.12. somethin like that

Download patch and install it.

Next, Make sure the d2loader icon is renamed to "Diablo II" and placed into the D2 folder. Then make a shortcut of it and place it on your desktop. If you need to download d2loader, here is the link: http://d2loader.blizzsector.co/files/D2L..._2008).zip

Remember you need the 2 files D2XVIDEO.MPQ and D2XMUSIC.MPQ copied off the LoD CD and placed into the d2 folder.
