The Dark Knight

Obfuscate Wrote:I think Depp would be a good fit for The Riddler if they plan to continue the darker Batman theme. If they try and make The Riddler/Batman movie more light hearted, like the last one with Jim Carey as the Riddler, then someone else would be fitting. if they pick someone "new" to the big screen I'll want a trailer showcasing the actors ability to portray The Riddler.

I'm also keen to know what other villain they will be pitting Batman against alongside The Riddler, if any. If they bring Two-Face back, which they should since his role was short lived, I'm not seeing how they will explain his rise from the dead in a manner movie goers and Batman lovers will like. Re-imagining The Penguin, Poison Ivy and/or Baine, and maybe Catwomen, I'd bust one through my pants if they put Haley Barry in as Catwoman because DAMN! was that women ever hotter than hell in Catwomen, would be welcome as well. I also think using the Royal Flush Club would pretty cool. ( Not a Batman comic reader so I have no idea if that was a creation for the TV series or a villan taken from the comics.)

P.S. I also expected a lot more discussion regarding this movie than one page. Kind of a shame really since the new Batman series is probably one of the best comic movie sieres running.

I'm not familiar with the Royal Flush Club.

Halle Berry as Catwoman? Did you see that movie? That would be horrible...then again she is an Oscar winner so maybe she just needs the right director? I think Christopher Nolan has proven time and again that he is a fantastic director.

I pray at night for an attempt at bringing Bane back with a director and writer who have TALENT. Bane is my all time favorite member of Bat's Rogue Gallery.

Also, I just don't feel Depp would fit into Nolan's Gotham.

I saw Catwoman but spent most of the time drooling over Haley Barry and zero time assessing the plot and such not. The eye-candy factor is the only reason I would even want her.

As for the Royal Flush Gang, sorry not "Club" my bad. Royal Flush Gang - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I think the right implementation of them could make an awesome movie and fit in well with the Mafia infested Gotham of Nolan's. It would also open the door to a possible JLA movie and coinciding or preceding movies for each of the members of JLA. That being said I am aware of Batmans fairly middling association with JLA but the tension and lone wolf style of Batman would just add another nice facet to the movie.

They've pretty much said they wont use the A-list actors they're using in the solo movie for JLA since it'll be too expensive, so a tie in would be a waste of time.

That seems kinda dumb if you ask me. I mean they've made a mint off the Batman series with Christan Bale and now they won't even consider forking over the dough for him to appear in the JLA movie? Stupid. Really freaking stupid.

Now we are going to get what...a sixth interpretation of Batman? I mean there really are not enough. Maybe they can get Val Kilmer to do Batman again. He can't be commanding to much money wise for movies these days.
