Drugs aren't too taboo, but you are dumb if you do them imo.

>Drugs aren't too taboo, but you are dumb if you do them imo. that's fine if you're alright with being closed minded imo.

There are other factors with extacy, after moderate use you loose the capacity to feel emotion, and it also causes memory loss.
It's a fun drug though. ![]()

Cocain pumped straight into your heart has a high probability of killing you fairly instantly.. Other than that, it's great!

You have your justifications and I have mine, we won't see eye to eye, so why bother with condescending bullshit? I'm honestly happy for your choice not to use drugs. Pass your judgement if you must, it doesn't phase me.

So, having never taken drugs, can someone do their best to explain to me the difference between drunkeness and say some of the softer drugs?? Which is more enjoyable???

xDBD Wrote:Ecstasy 'safer' than binge drinking - Queensland - BrisbaneTimes Instantly assuming that somebody is dumb for taking drugs without the knowledge if he is taking it for medical reasons is a bit careless judgement. However I don't know how taking care of your body is closed minded. I'm also glad there's more than just me on my side.

I'll care about my body and mind, no drugs for me, wouldn't want to go crazy and think i'm a glass of orange juice after that hippy flip, you guys are losers.

I'm going to add to your reputation now...wait no I'm not.

>I don't think caring about my body and mind is being closed minded.
the thing is, people view drugs as something negative no matter what. being open minded to me is having considered ALL options. if you just state that "doing drugs makes you dumb," it just screams that you've never really been exposed to responsible drug usage. i know that phrase (responsible drug usage) probably seems like an oxymoron but this kinda leads us right back to how open one's mind is. >Instantly assuming that somebody is dumb for taking drugs without the knowledge if he is taking it for medical reasons is a bit careless judgement. However I don't know how taking care of your body is closed minded. I'm also glad there's more than just me on my side. only justifying drug usage to medicinal reasons is the epitome of being closed minded IMO. any drug experience can be medicinal, regardless of the original reasons for ingestion. read trip reports on drugs like DMT, LSD, mushrooms, peyote, and even herb.. the positive 'effects,' and insights that some drugs can give definitely outweigh the negatives. with most soft drugs though (herbage especially) the "negative," effects are entirely dependent on the user. look at a bud smoker like Montel Williams, how many people genuinely assumed he was a stoner before he came outta the closet? probably not all that many. really maybe i'm being slightly egostatistical here, but unless you know me and my habits you would not call me out as a drug user. i bet i get wilder than everyone ITT on occasion but if you passed by me on the street you'd never know. the image of actual drug users and the image the government/whatever has fed the populus are totally different.

After pages and pages of arguments where I stayed firm on my standpoint I still need to state which side I'm on? I guess I need to restate my stance for every single post for all the people like Bloodangel26 who hasn't read through the thread. If you have read through the thread there is no reason to believe that I want to suck up to anybody's side but mine. Stop your pointless remarks and stay on topic please. I believe that MJ is a drug that is harmful to the body. I do not condone the use of MJ unless it is purely for medical reasons, and even then it will still do harm to the body while relieving the symptoms. xDBD Wrote:>I don't think caring about my body and mind is being closed minded. I do not have a prejudice against the MJ user. I don't think they look like addicts sitting in basements all day with bloodshot eyes. Hell I look like that in the morning. What I do believe in is that MJ is harmful to the body. And unless you are using it for medicinal reasons, I do not believe you are justified in using it. I clearly acknowledged the vast and potent use of medicinal MJ. But that is on a medical level. If you think believing in a drug being harmful and only condone its use as a medicine closed minded, then so be it. Same goes to you. Its like wrestling with a pig in mud. I have never said anything along the lines of "doing drugs makes you dumb". I don't believe MJ turn you into a retard, I believe it harms your body and eventually do an unwanted and considerable amount of damage.

i'm glad i read this thread and my mind was opened to all the the negative affects of smoking. i'm going to get rid of my Grateful Dead Posters tonite before i do considerable amounts of damage, hell, might as well throw away my bass too, music leads to drugs and i don't want a relapse. No need for that grim reaper bong or my incense burner either, they're just taking up space at this point.

As I said before to everyone, we won't see eye to eye. Your posts do not phase me in the slightest. And kid, congratulations, you just found out about trolling. You're small time. You're also warned for posting explicit material. ![]() |
