I was something created to explain why everything happened before people could, via science. I'm not real, oh well.

Probably because I fail to appreciate the beauty in what I see around me constantly.

But does that mean that BZS gave up on G-O-D? Or that G-O-D doesn't exsist. And can you rly just / G-O-D?

*** may very well exist, but the bible taken literally is a bunch of bullshit. Especially considering the fact that almost every story in it was stolen from another religion that came before it. Take the stories in the bible for their morals, nothing more, and you are on the right track.

Ignoring that last post, I meant completed because this kind of discussion gets nowhere. It's pointless. People don't agree on a lot of things, and this is one that people will never agree on.... So.. Let's just forget the thread got started in the first place.

I agree with Kellard and Bloodangel26. I haven't seen a single person who changed their beliefs of any subject in this forum. Maybe in the Diablo II discussions, but that is rare.
Please add to my Reputation if you find my post reasonable, beneficial, or helpful. Thanks. =]

im not sure whether wat im going to say is even relevant (i honoustly am not going to read 68 posts).

I was born christian. Baptized along with my brother when we were under 4 monthes old. Now i disregard everything about it. Im not the type of person that see its negative attributes. I respect christianity, because for the most part it has the capability of raising people to be respectful of others and a helpful person in society. However, i absolutly hate. and i mean hate, how constantly people (i know its a exageration) try to sell and otherwise force you into christianity because its wat they believe will make us better people. F*** that! I hate how for hundreds of years in the past people, many people died because they refused to change their *pagan* and wrongful religion. I hate how i was not brought awareness to this while i did goto church and instead learned it during gr. 9 in highschool.

People are given the rights to their own beliefs. Whether religios or not. For me believing a figuire that created everything was not good enough for me, there was no fact or evidence. Science is my religion. And i love physics!Tongue..however im not gona force religios people to disregard what they've been taught to adopt my ways just because i have fact on my side.

And im not just biased to christianity i feel, for the most part, exactly the same to all religions. I credit how it has the potential to make people...better people!..but...the ranting and venting of the paragraphs prior expain the negativity....

Edit: oh and i totally agree with nethran on this. What i said gets me no where. But it did practise my *****ing skills.

about the bible stealing from other religions..

most of the old testament is actually judaism, or jewish people, the new testament is Christianity. islam came from the bible. sort of. they just edited most of it and changed the meanings. there is no mention of Greek Gods or any other sort, buddaism isnt found in the bible and neither is hinduism. and plus having diffrent religions DID cause troubles. the world would be a much better place with just one (christianity) OR no religion.

I'm not a follower because too much of christian history is falsified rewritten crap.
Constantine, Pagans, ETC ETC, Supposedly "Hating gays" (i won't bring up how it never actualy states that, it causes shitstorms)
All in all it's your personal choice, the pious find it easy to ignore what they want.

hating Gays is one of the requrements of being Christian, apparently

Actually, I believe the saying is "Hate the sin, love the sinner." Being Christian doesn't mean you hate gays it means you hate what they're doing. As a Christian you are supposed to love your fellow man, flaws and all. So while you may believe a gay man is going to Hell for being gay you'll be joining him if you think your God wants you to hate him for it.

Actualy i was stating the latter, but meh, it's all the same.

No, I get what you're saying. I'm pointing out the hypocrisy of the "gay hating" that goes on in Christianity despite the religion teaching tolerance and forgiveness.

Gay hating is just one area where people take things the wrong way. Ignorant people find ways to be ignorant, despite what's known to be right or wrong, though. It's the sad way of the world.
