Need Help with merc gear

Ill use mmBot on my hammerdin and dunno which items to put on my merc.I don't want merc dies.I got cta 3 btw.I think guardian angel insight + tiara is good but what do u think ?I got reaper weapon mesh arm and helm with rez and 8% lifesteal s it good or i gotta change that gear?

Melee merc will die in Chaos sanctuary,no matter what gear u have on him.Recommended merc for chaos runs is an act 3 merc.If using a lightning merc,use crescent moon crystal sword,dream helm,dream shield,and an eth coh archon plate.He wont kill lightning immunes,but he wont die,either.If using a fire merc,use hand of justice crystal sword,dragon armor,dragon shield,and kiras guardian for the head.If using a cold merc,use lawbringer crystal sword,eth coh armor,20/20 cold monarch,and nightwing veil for the head.You could also use an act 1 merc with ice bow,eth fortitude,and shako for the helm.If you insist on using act 2 merc,have him wear high eth treachery armor,einsight,and kiras guardian.Act 5 merc,use high eth treachery,elwcb,and kiraaaas guardian.Hope this helps.

Well, it depends what you're running. Shrenk/Pindle/Eldrich merc requires pretty meager gear to be effective. Eth Shaftshop and a CoA or Eth Vamp Gaze usually keeps him alive.

I think getting some high dr, all res, def should make him fine. Like I said, eth Shaftshop or eth CoH, CoA etc. and you should be good. Oh, and the Act 2 merc with Defiance helps him and you live too (it probably would trigger since your running so many things)

Yea, i'd go with Act 2 Defensive Merc.

Gear:

Weapon: Eth Insight, Bonehew
Armor: CoH, Duriels Shell, Shaftstop
Helm: Andy's Visage, CoA

I tried to use kira+guardian angel but doesn't work when he got amplify dmg
so what about gaze 20 socked with ral and shaftop socked with ort + insight ?

Why would you socket those items with runes like ral/ort?

cuz the merc needs resist light and fire there if i dont put he will have 51 all rez only

Why not use 2 Um?

cuz on trav they dont attack with cold or poison damage
