Awakening
I laughed the loudest at the beginning of my dreams,
every piece of who I thought I was is a puzzle piece in me.
Every waking up nightmare is still just a dream
every glimpse of this madness is Satan in me...
Wake up.
Open my eyes,
closed for so long,
the silent wind blows dust beyond...
Every sight I have seen
is just, another reason
for me to have faded, back.to.the-end...
Feet falling to the ground as each fails to stand
every limb of humanity will wither and bend...
Lightning will flicker like fireflies will rend
the darkness is sign, as these eyes close again...
Wake up.
Closing my eyes
open for so long
the hurricane buries us in dust from beyond...
Every sight I have seen
is just another dream
for me to have lived again....

I really liked the flow of it all.The decsriptiveness was great,but I somehow wanted to put it to music as a song,lol!

Well in fact those are lyrics.
I'm not the most amazing musician so there isn't any music as of yet, but I can sing it. I might once I get my system all hooked back up.
I have some other recordings though. I might post them somewhere sometime.

nice, i really enjoyed it. i could keep a good rythm as i read it, and it reminded me a lot of past memories. 5 man, good job.

Yeah, whenever i write a piece of literature, i'm most excited and happy whenever someone can relive a memory through it. that's all what poetry is: our past experiences retold.

Well I am glad someone can look at it and really appreciate what poetry really is. =]
Too often I run into people who give the 'wow that sucks' post and not bother to provide anything further.
I suppose I will post some of my other poems and such here soon. =]

I sometimes write poetry. I sometimes share it, too. Later, I read it and wonder why I wrote it and then proceed to remove it fromthe places I posted it, thinking that it's probably the worst thing I ever put on the internet.

Yah I write and posted a lot of stuff.Some published even.Browse writing and role playing..we even get quite intricate in "My Bar"

i love "my bar". it's silly to be in. ^^
i hardly ever show any of my pieces to anyone, but usually when i do, i feel kind of akward afterwards. I have never been a showboat, i guess.
