Because it's just the first (early) version, you'll have good chars but with awful crappy items laugh:

In the next versions: more ubercharms, good items (sacred uniques and sets), great runes and class charms upgraded with AC250 & AC500

You should be able to manage your own file that you have uploaded. if it doesnt work let me know.

You must use plugy. If you don't, download and install it : PlugY, The Survival Kit v8.00
Download the zip file, put all the files in your DiabloII folder and finally execute the program to modify your d2gfx.dll (don't remember the name).
Then you will have a SharedStash.sss file in your save folder, just replace it with the one you downloaded.

For more information about plugy ask in the forum in a more appropriate thread please.

Now it would be wonderful if you can make the Destruction cow level playable, when picking up warts leg its red and does not work with the tomb of town portal.

I use Hex Workshop to read and edit the files, but I've done my own algorithm with Mathematica 6 to generate the checksum and to calculate the values of the stats....
So I use mathematica for the calculation an Hex Workshop for writting directly the values in the file, hard work.

I don't use Hero Editor or similar things, it's why the best I can do is to share my savefiles.

To Krycek : the cow level is perfecly playable in the 3 difficulties for me, if someone has the same problem please post it.
Stupid question: are you in the rogue encapment when you tried this ?

well the least i coudl do is use the necomancer named emporor for magic finding. if ehs not the best, well i perfer summoners.
