Unid torch

Now, i'm going to start ubering like crazy with my smiter, but i can't decide what i'm going to do wiht the torches i'm gonna get. Should i identify them or just sell them unid? I know it's people opinion, but i cannot decide so i'm asking for some suggestions. Also isn't there like math or formula that determines the torches??
