I'm sure I'm going to create ruckus but anyhow... my little thoughts, I feel like sharing them. I'm sure I'm wrong or there are parts I'm missing. Anyhow...
This comes to mind instantly.

It's great how all of these groups are trying to help them so much, giving them food and shelters and teaching them English yadda yadda.
Is there so little there, that if they went back to primitive hunting and housing that they couldn't do it? I'm sure they were better off way back in the days when everyone was equal and no one knew about religion or had their own and technology was obsolete. Why are we teaching them English...? Are they planning on coming to the US or Canada and going to work in a McDonalds or something? What good is it for them to know English in Africa in their home... town... or whatever they have. They need to learn to fend for themselves of they will keep starving while waiting for use to give them supplies. They need to get back to their roots. If they keep waiting for us to help them become like us they never will. Granted they need to cut back on the jungle bunny humping as well. They need to learn to get food themselves.

well the world dosnt want barbarians anywhere (in this cause nomadic peope who will do anything to survive) they teach english people..well...english is the second most spoken language.

What good will it do to know English for those who will never be able to afford to get to America. I wasn't intending 'savage barbarians' was more along the lines of typical Indians. Or tribes you see in rain forests. There is such a thing as civilized and resourceful.

Well they will be easy to control if they don't but I'm quite sure they will. Just because they have to hunt or use their own resources does't mean they will become mindless or not have reason. It's obvioulsy doing no good right now accept having far too many in poverty trying to live off of our food and medication and shelters.

I feel the same, War. It's something I'm very passionate about.
A lot of people would argue, "Why do they have so many children if they can't afford to feed them?" <-- Isn't a valid statement. These people have lots of children in the hope that the girls will be married off for money, so the family is better off. And the boys will become men, and work, to bring money in for the family.
We need to be doing things to HELP our equals, not hinder their process of helping themselves.

africa is a shithole. and it always was. the only good thing about africa is how they remained stateless for so long. why dont people just quarentine this shithole and leave the people alone?

Seems they at least need to be teaching them more resourceful points, not things that are somewhat ueseless. Just seems that no matter how much we help, it only does so little. I'm sure they weren't always like this, I'm sure they were better off decades ago. Really don't know. Just takes me back to the quote I mentioned in post one. I'm sure we could do better than we are if we... well, stopped trying so hard.

Yes, but it might be a bit too late for that. Try putting a domesticated pet back into the wild and I won't know how to survive.

I read the post. It was pretty pointless in my opinion. What makes Africa so special when there are people starving and homeless in your own country, and in pretty much any country was my point.

I just saw a documentary about a family struggling to walk to a camp to get some aid after their entire village was burned.It was heartbreaking to see how tired the children became and the mothers who carried them.
The men hunted what they could and the women and children gathered wood to sell to local areas on this LONG walk.
They built shelters at night with what little they had left and the wind and rain were making the kids sick.
Even after arriving at a *help camp* it took African officials 2 months to provide them with aid.
Other refugees share what meager rations they have...otherwise..with the vast numbers uprooted from homes and the failing of crops......I do not see starvation coming to a halt their.
The problems are complex and there just is no easy answer.

entire village burned? ah no big deal, there were thousands burned in WWII alone most or all in the soviet union, thats whats tragic not one nameless villiage.

I know there's no simple answer but teching things they don't need shouldn't come first. They should be taught better servival tactics before learning about adapting to a cultre that isn't there yet.

one thing i don't understand..why was technology so unbalanced in the world, seems to me that middle east was the superpower for thousands of years, then Europe, but not the Americas or Africans or anything.. what does europe have in adbundance that nowehere else has?

Wow Math, I actually agree with you for once. I believe that at the end of the day it's not our responsibility to feed starving Africans. Countries have to look out for themselves. It's not our fault that they can't get their shit together.

Yes, I'm the ****ing idiot because I don't think it's necessary to get involved with people that haven't asked for our help...like how America is notorious for exploiting any useful resources or attributes for their own use while trying to seem friendly by bring Democracy, currency, technology...and of course...U.S. influence and control; all to peoples and regions that have neither asked for it...nor have needed it thus far. Grow up, stop being so simple minded...and then I might be intrigued to debate such things further with you.

Yes Math...burned the village and killed people. The whole PLACE is alive with waring fanctions.....and then they need help just to deal with it.
