yes there is...go in 2 a help channel with the blizzard bots find out there account then wait for the bot 2 logoff then try 2 logon with a brute forcer or psychic powers, voodoo etc,.

Don't ruin close Bnet any more than it has been. Too many dupes and hacks are already around in UsEast. There isn't a way to do it unless you find a way to transfer an item from open Bnet to closed, there is no public way of doing this and I hope their wont be anytime soon, actually I just hope that there is NO way of doing it now...

open battle.net is for hacking closed isnt. i spent hours upon hours on closed to get good stuff for my zon. but then whenever i dueled, some $^*#$% would always beat me cuz of white rings and a bunch of hacks that didnt belong

YES, guyz you can hack closed battle.net. However, their security and prevention systems are very extensive and effective. aaa... the simplest of all the hacking of battle.net can be found in the most common maphack. the way maphack works, in lameman's terms for u non hackers, is this: when you activate maphack, your character position is documented as the center point of a viewing radius, not ur light radius, but the radius that ur minimap appears, they're 2 diff things. Now, how it works is it simotaneously, <-- spelled wrong?, places your character throughout the entire act, in otherwords, it fakes the server into believing that your character occupies every cubical in the map, therefore all of the map is revealed. When it comes to hacking more complex things, the same method, basicly, is used. for instance you can hack your B-Net chars, within your D2 files, there are .ds2's of every character that you have ever taken into a game. Now finding them is hard, hacking them is easy, but replacing them is the hardest part. to explain it we have to look at what happends when your computer crashes. Periodly your Battle.net characters are backed up onto your hard drive, Now Blizzard servers will use the copy of the character on your HD if and ONLY IF, your connection from B-net was unexpectedly interrupted and your copy of the character is within 8 seconds of that termination point. finally to further protect security, the character has to be 97% alike the character that was last stored on the battle.net server. Which would be the char that you had logged on with. so if you want to hack, go at it...... i wish you the best of luck, and the best coffie that the world has 2 offer cause ur gonna need it.

Ok, Siluru. To start off with, even though you guyz are about to know about the one time that i have been caught doing no no's on Battle.net servers. Im sure that someone will still call BS, but so be it. Yes i did hack my character On the 20 March 04, just after midnight, rumor had it that battle.net servers were the most vunerable at that time because there are no techs to watch over them. I tried countless times hex-editing my char and then terminating my connection and attempting to save the data withing the window. I tried until just after midnight when my mission, my work and my endless attempts came to my success, I had sucessfully raised my strength by 1, I know that it sounds like a stupid goal, but it was a phenominal breakthrough, however, shortly after my success, i recieved a "Curtosy? Email" from Blizzard, apparently, my ip address and home location had been documented on their server. I wouldnt have freaked out about it but they knew my full address and i had never gave it to them, i never registerd or anything with my address. but yea i did it once, my strength up by one, thats the best i have ever done. and i think my Closed Battle.net hacking days have long since set.

dude....no wories.u did no harm 2 there servers.they cant do shit u edited ur own personal person.tho they do have the right 2 ban u so yea there is that but u cant be sued or anything.also why +1 str?thats 2 noticable.wat you should o did is edit the defense of 1 of ur set items.becuase some of the malthoguh the same item have difrent defense so blizzard really cant penalize u 4 anything.

Sure, of course you hacked into B.net servers. And for you to know, editing those files doesn't do anything, B.net doesn't save closed characters to your computer, never.

You're right, they don't. Those files only contain mapdata etc, which is useless.
