Health and Mana Orbs
#1
What do you all think about the HP and Mana orb kinda system, up getting health and mana regen instant use items?

I think its kinda cool since you no longer need potions in the heat of battle you can just run over an orb and boom up goes your HP/MP!

What do you all think?

It'll make WWing through a mob of Iron Maiden guys a little less deadly. Hopefully. Either way, I'm a WW whore, and I like things that heal me when I go through.

I like it, but then I hate it for the unknowns. Like, if you have max life or close to, and you suck it up, what happens later in the battle when you really need that life, but its no longer there. Like a semi-boss fight. But then its easier to do then potions. However potions you could use when you needed them.

I'm sure they'll work that out in beta testing.

aslong as each character in D3 are actually useful. I'll be happy. I think at one point Blizzard did formally say D2 single and multiplayer wasn't well thought out. I've only seen one martial assasin in D2 that was past lvl 80.

I don't think that is because the Assassin wasn't well thought out - I feel like it might be more along the lines that is not a cookie cutter build. Anything that does not have hammers, can't teleport (I'll admit I'm a hypocrite on this one, lol), or does not smite (there are more, but you get the point) his or her way out of trouble drowns in the sea of repetitive character building.

thats what i mean. U need to do that build to survive hell without fantastic gear. Well sorcs where always useless. thats what i mean. You have a class that can only do elemental, yet all monsters in hell are immune. And tristram? Can u believe that? Immune to everything monsters.. like thats bullshit. U know something is messed up when everyone advocated a smiter to do uber. ..im a hypocrite too. My highest char is a hammers. Well thats the only char i use

oh and by thought out, i didn't mean the effectivness of a martial assasin. They kick ass. Its whether or not they'd be the best choice of character to play in hell. Idealy every character class should have the same amount of difficulty. There is like only one boot they released in 1.11 that does decent boot dmg i believe.
