Anti-Rip
#1
I was talking to Pam about something tonight, while watching her fall asleep at the computer(very comical when she started back awake), and she suggested I post about it. So just wanted to let everyone know I am working on a site called Anti-Rip, a web wide blacklist for rippers. Anyone can report a ripper and it will be investigated. If proven, they will be added to the blacklist where other sites can see them, and ban them if they choose. This is the first big movement against artwork rippers that I know of, so just thought I would share.

Anti Rip | Centralized Ripper Reporting

Looks cool, and it's a neat idea, but what will stop people from just creating different usernames every time they get added to the list?

It won't matter, as we'll have their IP address as well.

thats a great idea. I did learn yesterday, however, to change my IP address... I feared someone had tapped into mine and was denying my internet service. I really pissed of this guy in wc3 like last week and since than i often get disconnected from battle.net with my cd key still being used. Anyways yea, IP is ez to change. Fricken lazy to do it thou since it takes like 4 minutes

Along with your IP I can get your ISP, Router info, location, and how far away or close other IP's you use are, as well if and what proxy your are using. Trust me...I know all the ways to bypass security, I'm a programmer as well, and I do security for a lot of sites.

I went to college for design and programming, so it does when it comes to my sites. Ask to be IP banned here and see how easy it will be for you to get around it. >.>

Ip, e-mail, isp, etc get blocked. Seriously...do you know how to get past IP ban besides the little nooblet trick of using a proxy...which won't work? >.>

well, you can easily change the ip. email is nothing, cause that takes 3 mins. isp i have not looked into but i know it can be done, most rippers are people who have no idea what they are doing. but if you get the right person, it's gunna be easy for them.

Well, rippers have one bad habit, they keep ripping. So long as they keep ripping, doesn't matter what e-mail or ip they use on what site, because this will be a center with a lot of big graphic sites partnered with. So, even if they do know how to changer their ip (highly unlikely, seeing as they can't even be arsed to make their own artwork), then they will just get caught again, reported, and blacklisted. Rinse and repeat.

Lol, I'm in agreement with Zero here. If they cant even be bothered to looking a 5 min tut, I doubt they even bothered to learn how to change there IP.

@Sliver

I believe the only way to change your ISP is to get a different provider.
