Hey guys, i'm using an um'd HoZ, and i'm trying to figure out how much dex i need to max block. The shield, when holy shielded, says 75% chance to block, does this mean i don't need dex? Because the character sheet says 44% chance to block , even when the shield says 75%. This is very confusing, can anyone help me?

Holy Shield adds a certain % to your block rating on the shield only, your characters actual block rating is formulated from your level, dex, and your shield. The higher your character level, the more dex you need to keep your block rating up. So, you need more dex if your characters status screen displays a 44% chance to block with holy shield on. You should need 214 dex by level 99 to have 75% chance to block.
The formula is: Total Blocking = (Block rating of your shield * (Dexterity - 15)) / (Character Level * 2)
