Low Level Botting

Hey all, I'm trying to find a good way to level up a new char using D2nt. I have tried making a new char, configuring it with normal attacks, and telling it to run Den Of Evil and Cold Plains. Problem is that the bot just stands around most of the time. I am assuming that it wants to tele and not walk. Is there a way to tell the bot to just run around instead of trying to tele? If there is not a way to do this, can anyone recommend a way to level up a new char from level one? I know that i should not have the bot run where there are doors, because the bot cannot handle doors, but it doesn't seem to want to run around in open space either. PLEASE HELP. Thanks in advance.

Well if you figure out some solution, please do tell. Best I have come up with is just running the cold plains a lot. Got my char to level 10 that way, but it took a lot longer than if I would have just manually done some trist runs.

I bot my characters from level 3, but I do it on my second cd key while im playing with the first key, it takes longer at first,but the way i do it is to start with bishibosh and bloodraven,until level 8.Then I do Tristram and Treehead until level 18,then summoner and radament until level 20ish. After that I add travincal,with the summoner until about 23,then I add mephisto until 25,then I add Izual, then I self rush with my other cd key and do baal until about 52.And, then I go to NM and repeat until I get into my Enigma.With a sorc it's much easier because you get teleport at level 18,but it requires a very specific mana build, usually by level 18 with my sorceress I have around 260-300 mana with a stacked warmth.,Also one of the secrets to low level botting especially in normal, is to pick the lowest mana attack that you have,and make sure the range for it is in your NTAttack.With a good merc you can go all the way to act 4(maybe not through act 4, though) just using your lowest mana attack.And this is much easier to do if you already have a farm character to twink out your up and coming bot.

Thanks for posting a reply, I was hoping you would since you talked about botting from level 3 in another thread. But don't you run into the problem of the bot not walking around correctly because it wants to tele? I know that just having my bot do the cold plains, it would get stuck all the time and sit around a lot. Eventually it would pick back up and start running again, but after like 15 minutes.

I tryed it to, the low level botting and didnt work for me either, so now the char is lvl 76, i rushed it myselve and did loads of runs on my own (trist, tomb, baal (normal, nightmare, hell))

I admit low level botting is not very efficient, but it does work if you do the runs I stated earlier, and because i use my second cd key to do it while I'm actually playing or using an established bot on my first key, i have no issues, my bot just went from level 28 yesterday(started baal botting in normal, w/o enigma) to level 55 tonight (as of right now, still baal botting solo with no enigma)The best thing to do is not watch him lol, have a little patience and just let him go doing the runs I specified.

yeah, i guess my char was leveling, but very slowly. How come you don't set up a baalleech on one key and have the other one do baal runs when the char is 25+. I find that's the fastest way to level a new char after 25. I just still haven't found a fast way to level from 1-25 using bot scripts. I guess i will just have to settle with waiting longer than I would like.

I thought about the baal leech, but I try to keep my bots on the same account together, just in case blizzard decides to ban for bots lol.All my other accounts are strictly mules, I also keep my ladder accounts and non ladder accounts separate.But you can also set up the leech bot to do trist and trav runs,so keep that in mind.

I do the same as far as keeping my mules on accounts by themselves, as well as ladder/non-ladder separated. Why would you want to keep your chars on the same account in terms of banning. If they ban one, then they essentially ban all your bots. I keep one char on one account and nothing else on that account. Just so I can bring chars in to help each other. I also makes muling much much easier.

So B.net doesn't care that you have two cdkeys using 2 different chars from the same account? I always thought you couldn't do that.

I have 6 ladder accounts, 1 of them is for botting and the others are mules, my bots are pretty much all cookie cutter builds(if you can call an hybrid ww/trapper cookie cutter), but they only represent a small portion of my diablo 2 wealth.Anything good is quickly muled away. The only time I use both cd keys in the same game room is to give my new bots waypoints, my OFPT is on a seperate account as of now because I'm still learning how to get that set up, otherwise I run a nonladderbot and a ladderbot.


I don't think your supposed to use two keys with one account but you can, kind of like your not supposed to bot, but we do lol.

haha, i didn't know you could do that. I do the same, I mule everything away from my bot accounts in case of a ban. I currently only bot in ladder, I don't see much of a point of botting in non-ladder as all my ladder stuff will become non-ladder eventually anyways. I bot a Blizz Sorc, Hammerdin, and ww/trapper on ladder. I have 3 lvl90+ chars on non-ladder, but never play them.

I mostly duel on nonladder,as thats where all my godly ladder gear ends up anyway, but I love tweaking my toons on nonladder trying to get the most out of them, like my nonladder ww/trapper hybrid, she does 4.2k per hand with ww and has 8k LS as well as 60% weaponblock and 3k life(for now lol)

yeah, those are some badass stats for a ww/trapper. I think my trapper is only up to 1.5k per hand and only like 6k lightning. What gear allows you to achieve those numbers?[COLOR="Silver"]

as far as the assassin goes shes using perfect runic chaos, eth zodded jade talon(or rare runic fools claw for dueling pallies and barbs) perfect bramble(for barbs and pallies) or Archon enigma, coa socketed w/ 2 perf poison facets, nice rare rings and ammy, +3 shadow, +25 str magic ammy and 2 soj for prebuff, 2x +5 venom claws for prebuff, inventory full of trap gc's, torch and anni plus all the usual gear like trangs gloves, arach belt, most of her damage comes from the venom prebuff and tweaking with bramble and trangs gloves, her trap damage comes from judicious skill placement and massive + traps skills, I know that was slightly OT but o well it happens lol.

Anyway I couldn't agree more, the merc is what does 75% of the killing for low level botting so it is an absolute necessity.
