just so u know none of those links seem to work to load brushes to photoshop. cool tut though even though i'm prob more into abstract or tech style sigs than grunge.

Animated Matrix


1.open a new document 150x350

2.before we get started in ps you'll need to either spend all day typing the matrix code in or do this
open word or notepad, then open and image file that is not supported

3.select a portion and copy it

4.now back in ps image > rotate canvas 90cw

5.paste the portion you selected, and edit > transform > flip vertical

6.image > rotate canvas 90ccw

7.filter > artistic > neon glow

8.now go to image ready

9.first off in image ready duplicate the frame 1 time

10.now while on the 2nd frame hold "ctrl" and drag the layer down

11.with layer 1 selected go to select > load selection > layer 1 transparency

12.image > crop


13.tween use these settings

14.and it should look something like this when done

Making a grid pattern

by 4sylum


1: first start off by making a new transparent document that is 8x8 pixels

2: next, zoom in as far as you can
3Confusedelect the color you want your grid to be and select the pencil tool
4. make a shape like this with the pencil tool

5:Now click on select > all then edit > define Pattern and name your new grid

6: now your grid is complete all you have to do now is add it to a picture


7: select any picture and make a new transparent layer
8Confusedelect edit > fill and a box will come up
9:make sure it is set to pattern and not foreground color, select your new pattern and press ok
10:then you done. here are some results

i cant get the dripping blood to work on the text...i get stuck at when it says select the background foreground color i do that and nothing happens. damnit.

if your talking about my tutorial....you select the background layer, then set your foreground color to whatever color you want the blood to be,alt+backspace till you get the desired amount of blood

Animated Text Gradient


1.open new document and type whatever you want

2.grab the "gradient tool" and select colors that you wish (i picked white to black) remember to select "reflected gradient"

3.make a new layer, now in the middle of the document make a gradient like so

4.next drag the gradient to the left (by holding ctrl) so that it is off the text layer

5.hit "ctrl+G"

6.now go to image ready

7.now that your in image ready make a new frame

8.with the gradient layer selected and on the 2nd frame, hold "ctrl" and drag the gradient all the way to the right untill it is off the text

9.after you drag the layer off the text hit tween

and use the settings below

10.that's it here my fininshed product

Tentacles


1.open new document 250x300

2.grab your polygon lasso tool

3.make a shape like the one below and fill it with any color you wish and then hit ctrl+d (to deselect)

4.filter > distort > shear and shape it however you wish

5.download this file

6.unzip the file to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CS\Presets\Styles

7.next go to window > styles

8.on the styles window click the little arrow in the top right corner, and select load styles

9.next click that style it just loaded and there's your tentacle

Simple Signature Background


1.Open new document i used 420x120

2.Grab your gradient tool and make sure at the top its set like this

3.Go crazy as much as you wish to get the effect you want, i got this

4.Filter > Stylize > Find Edges

5.Duplicate the layer

6.Filter > Distort > Wave choose randomize until you get the desired effect

7.Change the blend mode SoftLight

8.ctrl+E (to merge the layers)

9.ctrl+U to colorize
