Help please!

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong but I get a unhandled expectation access c000005 violation error when I run the bot. Gets to main menu in Diablo then crashes. Not sure what I am doing wrong? I have used this bot before long time ago older version.

did u get the patch file for it? there should b 2 files thats d2nt, u need to get both of them

which ver bot are you using? also if you are running win 7 you will need to run the manager in win xp and/or admin mode
and like Tacos was saying if you have a older bot you will need to updatte the dll file - I can help you more after I found out which bot you are using

When I open the D2NT manager it says 3.1 I ran a older version that used to work last ladder season as well and it did the same thing. Thing is I used vista(when I ran the older version of bot last ladder season successfully) then on my gaming desktop. Now I use windows 7 on my laptop(this attempt with different version). I thought maybe it was the version of Diablo I have because the one on other computer was installed with old cds from like 5-6 years ago. This version I got straight off blizzard so I thought maybe something in the directory they added may be interfering so I compared directories and not much is different(though there is a file full of code). I will try running as Admin now. Also I really haven't tried setting it up step by step in the sticky on this boards front page.

Okay now I'm getting a Diablo II: Windows - Application Error

The exception unknown software exception (0x0000417) occured in the application at location 0x10090a62

Click on OK to terminate the program has a red circle with white x on the side of the message

I downloaded that set it up to run ran it in admin mode. and yes I'm using windows 7

are you running D2 with a cd and will D2 run ok without using the bot

Yea it runs good Its not a copy from my cds I got it off the blizzard site.

probably the best thing to do is if you have teamviewer where I can log on to your computer so I can see what it happen and try to help you to get it running that way - but the teamviewer is up to you, I will understand

well now that i have the bot set up successfully and ran it for a few nights I just got my first temp ban(i think.) found a video how to get around it using proxy your freedom and proxycap. Etal - Setting up a proxy for Diablo II - YouTube I made a free account because I attempted to make a basic 5 dollar account it would not let me until I connected. So I got to the step where you connect it gives me a authentication error. Tried changing password(because after reading it says that error is due to non existing account or invalid login info) doing a few things now I think I'm blocked from your freedom site either through my isp or they blocked me I don't know it just wont load for what ever reason. So I'm stuck. I have mules with some gear which isn't much but still I don't want them to expire I got some cd keys two computers and a temp ban that could be on my ip and one of the keys I don't know. I'm not sure what I should do now if I should just wait a couple days and see if it expires or if I should see if I can get it lifted or keep trying to get around it.

sounds like the freedom web site might have block you because of trying to get on so many times and thinking you are trying to hack in. might give it a few days and re-try it
for your temp ban they last about 12 hrs up to 24 hrs or longer - so best thing to do there is just wait it out
how long are your runs? if they are short might try adding another script or 2 - also you can add some time between making games to help
are you running just one bot or 2 - if you are just running one bot and if you want to use both of your d2 cdkeys to bot with you can have the bot switch keys for you after so many runs - which would help a lot - let me know more on how you are setup for botting like with one or more at a time and I can try to help you more

Yeah I'm not sure why I could not reach the site for four hours. I did get on the site though made a account properly got on to the right server logged onto my accounts on b.net through the proxy so everything is okay the key was not banned. I played a few games then got a (server down message or something like that) not sure but I'm going to leave it alone for a while all I need to do is log on anyway to keep the mules okay if it takes that long. Hopefully the temp ban doesn't last too long like you said. I was just using one bot my HDin for mfing like most people do successfully to trade items ect (I know this is a really really old game to really care much about and I probably sound like a noob for not knowing a lot of this stuff seeing as how people have been playing programming and making chat clients web sites on b.net for the past 15 years and I hardly know anything about computers because I haven't really applied my self) but still this game is better then a lot of these new games that come out for some reason these older games really feel like gold don't get me wrong though there are still plenty of good games that come out. I was disappointed in diablo 3 though but still plan on playing it more along with sc2 regardless of all the bad things I have heard and the things I have seen for the small amount of time I have played it. Sorry for getting of topic there I have never ran more then one bot but I have two characters that I would like to run at the same time. I'm going to have to try one of those ways I guess to avoid the temp ban in the future I'll be sure to post a update when the temp ban is lifted hopefully I wont have to get on b.net site and get someone to lift it ect. thanks for the response

sounds good and I would not do this - "hopefully I wont have to get on b.net site and get someone to lift it ect." because you were botting and could end up with a perm ban from it - I just wait it out or have bot switch cdkeys for you or add more time to your runs and in between making games or try not to run the bot so long at one time - if you still having problems after trying all this let me know and I will see what I can do to help out

did you try running serby in admin mode?
in your starter file that you are using like the NTBot.ntj file - open it and just a little way down is this group - Connection Settings: - then find this line - var createGameThreshold - there will be a = 5000 or could be a different number - but the 5000 is 5 sec - so I would try 10 sec which would be 10000 and see how that helps and you might have to add more time
plus if you get the cdkey to work and add an extra key you probably won't have to mess with the time
give that a try and let me know how it goes

I got it to work now downloaded a mpq editor and for some reason it all works now
