Before I started playing (When I had a life) I was living in vancouver and I moved to Toroto, Ontario to be with a long lost friend who was having probs with her family. Then she made things up with her family and they moved to Europe. Before she left she told me how much she appreciated how much I did to give her support (emotional and moral) then She give me a KISS in front of EVERYONE!!! at the airport.

after my g/f broke up with me for bein an asshole......i filled her room up with flowers and set a ring on her table (paid 900 bucks for) with a note saying im sorry.im a sucka for love i know it

When I was a Sophomore in High School My bestfriend at the time was sitting outside my bedroom window when I got home. I walked into the darkened room to hear a *plop plop plop* I switched on the lights and see a Christmas stocking attatched to the inside of my wall and Alan((My friend)) dropping candy into it!He then handed me a power cord and says...*Plug this in*..So I do! OMG my windows burst into light!He had decorated all my windows with Christmas lights..and sprayed *snow* messages with HappyBirthday! ((My BD is Dec.7th)) all over the place! Then I looked a bit into the yard ...he had planted a Christmas tree and decorated it too! The next morning there was a yellow street sign nailed to a tree outside my back door with this message....*Yeild*
I have known him for 29 years now..and have been married to him for 23 Now our Anniversary is Dec.28th......I love Winter time!

hrm .... sounds like when I painted all over my exs walls... guess she didnt like it. I drew some really cool stuff and painted it in was there for like 6 hours because she wasnt home.
Then she came home when I was working on it. lol. *not gonna say the next part*. Yeah anyways we stayed together for 1 year after that... meh i got to much time on my hands.

*sigh* Ok this whole thread has made me all teary eyed and I'm man enough to admit it damnit! lol Anyway, Spoon, I read that entire thing, and man, your smooth. lol Spoon is very right about the little things, but as for me nothing seems to work out no matter the gestures. I won't even bother you all with my sad but true "lost love" story, it's much too long to type and hurts too bad to think about. So i'll just leave this as advice, if you fall in love, watch out and be very realistic with yourself, keep your hopes low, so if nothing good comes, you won't be so hurt. Maybe I'll post my nice, sad, long story later.

the most romantic thing I've ever done for my girlfriend was walked to her house with a broken foot carrying the electric guitar i had just bought for her cause she had always dreamed of having one but could never afford one then sat with her for hours trying to teach her how to play... I dunno if thats romantic.. i thought it was

Ah...well the song sway by Coal Chamber starts with that. Only it's Dez, the singer, singing it and that album is significantly older than that movie. Also the quote has been in many moviesm not sure where it originated.
But anyway what you did was pretty smooth.
