What are penalties for pindel bots/maphack?

I was wondering what Battle.net will do for using pindel bots/maphacks. I was told that for pindel you can get banned for several hour and that you'll get your cd-key banned for using MH. I was wondering if any one knows how they catch pindel bot users and maphackers. Any info would help much

if/when they find you, its probly just your account banned, as you can buy another cd key, and i'm pretty sure your ip adress changes every time your computer is turned on making it illogical to ban it.

Nah they delete the account happened to me and my friends, got caught botting and maphacking so our mfing accounts were deleted... but i was smart i make each a seperate account for every 1 or 2 characters, its a pain but hey if one account gets hacked you dont lose 8 characters =]
