Merc 2v5

I am Going to make a Pindle Bot and I need a strong merc to tank for me, so far I have been told to get a act 2 Merc or an act 5 merc. If I get an act 2 which one should I get?, or should I just get an act 5 merc.

Try act2 defense/normal difficulty, he's with Defiance aura and he tanks like hell.

Or Holy Freeze, unless you're going to use cold skills, or can't afford Doom.

Doesnt the act 2 hell defense merc have the same attributes as the normal one? or is it that when you lvl a normal merc to hell, he becomes stronger then the hell version

but see if ure lazy or not....if ure just plain lazy,just a act 5 hell merc...if u wanna lvl him up yourself get a norm merc...

get an act2 norm defensive merc and train it to your lvl (time consuming) or get an act2 hell defensive merc (it wud be near your lvl) and set it up wif a shaft (or sumthin of your choice of good defence) a eth bonehew and a gaze or wtv u want. mines is lvl90, same as my sorcy and tanks for me in pindlebot. ive died once or twice during 350 runs of botting and to me i consider that good already b/c i run on 56k and i get lagdeath. dont worry , a2 mercs willl tank good enuf, if not better than a5

waht do you mean nubli...? dosnt he need a tank for his pindle runs and wouldnt an act2 norm defensive merc be the best because it gives defiance which boosts the defense and if you level your mercanarys yourself they are better ... so what exactly are you sayin nubli?
