ok this is why I hate metallica. They stole all their riffs from Death. One of the first metal bands. Thats the only reason people know about them at all. If it wasnt for Death being around they wouldnt even exist.
And it also pisses me off what they did to napster. Stealing music? What about you mr. Pefect lars.

i hate metal... especially metallica, i dont mind the occasional semi metal song but im more into rap/hip more lyrically oriented music. Metal is just guitar and screaming...

Yeah, shitty metal might be guitar and yelling. And rap is ****ing gay. Rap is just ****ing noise. Period, end of story.

I dont mind rap =/. The things I cant stand or where its just straigh yelling and swearing. U have to have at least one soft song... I mean look at Gorgolith they even had one soft song... Now as for getting Fd in The A just ****ing say it. U got ****ed in the ***.

Rap pisses me off. I just saw Lloyd Banks or w/e his name is on much music this morn and his music label was "G-Unit" I'm like wtf another shitty rapper who was friends with 50 cent. They rap about gay shit that doesnt mean anything. At least 2pac made people give a damn.

I was at a friends house and we were actually watching a rap video and they were talking about liking it raw and thugging their women... WHAT THE **** IS THAT SHIT? ARE YOU ****ING SERIOUS? lol bash all rapper day or what? im not really into mainstream rap its kinda bland and always about "*****es and cash" hah i like underground shiet and kinda not that wellknown although Wu-Tang is known they arent sell out. Metal on the other hand give me a fuuckin break its all yelling and guitar solos sure its tough to yell and attempt to say words but cmon, rappers are lyrically talented thats y i have respect for most of them.

Dude Uve never heard the bands that arent yelling. Not to be rude but I think ur one of those people I hate... They hear one band of a genre that probably sucks ***, and they think they know all about it.

Rappers like 2-Pac I can deffinately respect. But even though he was very spiritual and a very good writer he doesn't compare to a lot of metal bands. Maynard James Keenan has some of the most well written lyrics on A Perfect Circle's first album "Mer de Noms" each song is based on some literary story and either analyzing or criticizing a character or a situation the character in those stories, hence Mer de Noms meaning "Sea of Names". Before you go and criticize a genre please make sure you know what you're talking about cause you obviously know very little about this genre and should stick to what you do know. Also nobody is impressed that you listen to "underground" rap...seriously nobody cares.

I find underground rap is just as bad. I went to a party and these guys were listening to their friend's rap CD... IT BLEW! And I'd imagine that the rest of the "underground" rap is gay too.
