i can't use any firewalls on my computer because 1 of 2 always goes wrong:
"HTTP 500 internal server error" in any internet browser (including firefox)
or
i lose all access to the internet.
i always configure all bits of the firewall to allow what is needed and i have tried every firewall (including ZA pro 5) i can think of/find.
i am on ntlworld 150k and i am always connected.
HELP!!

I have ZoneAlarmPro 5 and it works fine. I think when it asked you to allow Firefox or IE for access to the internet, you blocked it thinking it was a bad file. Retry your configurations.

do you have a hareware firewall from a router or anything else....if you use a router most likly it has a firewall on it and could conflict with a software firewall...its rare but does happen

Hmm... take your install disc and reinstall it all. Then try with the firewall. Your data shouldnt be lost during re-installation.
