best merc helm??

what you think the best act2 defensive merc helm is??

right now im using gaze but maybe its better to use andariels visage?

btw i use upgraded shaft so i allready have some dr

Gaze is best if you have perfect lifeleech and dmg reduce on it. Otherwise yeah Andyhead is good and also Gulliames face for more damage. Rockstopped or Crown of thieves are good cheap alternatives.

: :Andarial's Visage isn't too good for mercenaries. Vampire Gaze, overall, is the best helm. Harlequin Crest wouldn't be too bad, except for total lack of resistances and leech. Crown of Ages is quite good, though expensive. You could socket it with Ber, Um, or Enahanced Damage Jewels.

yeah Ethreal CoA BerBer is prolly teh best, but I didn't recommend it since this guy seemed to not have that sort of economy ^^ anyway if you would like to go for MF on the merc wich i do. i suggest using CoA IstIst and Tomb Reaver IstIstIst and Tal Arm Ist thats what I have and it gives the merc a whooole lot of MF adding up to your MF goes way beyond 1000 for me if i remember correctly

lol so true. Ists go for 1 soj a piece nowadays . But back on topic... I wud say get an Ethreal Gaze w/ 8/8 ll/ml and perf dr. Fairly cheap i guess.

I agree for most non rich ppl it would defintely be better to use good ll/ml and dr gaze eth or non eth.

P.S. Dont upgrade gaze if ur ladder the upgraded def sucks a**

If i remember correctly gazes def is in the 200's. The upgraded version is in the 300's. Maybe you just got a bad upgrade.

my merc uses a perfect gaze dr ml ll with a ber in it , for armour i got eth corpsemorn till i get a 3000+ def stone. wep is eth boneweh im not that rich

can stones defense even go over 3k? most ive seen is like, 1.8...

yeah i think threres like eth stones that have like 4k defense although i havent ever seen this, this would be very good armor for the merc

why care about the mana leach if its for a merc?

I think there is a bug with upgrading Vampire Gaze, because I tried to upgrade mine, and the base item changed, but the defense remained intact...

CoA doesnt come ethereal

and to answer bowbow, no, merc can just use the "headbutt" attack or whatever it is

lol is it true that all indestrutable uniq items cant be eth casue it seems like its true but im not shure, sry about this being off topic but it kinda is on topic
the reson i say this is cause i saw a dude with a eth 40/15ias HellSlayer it almost had like 1000 dmage max.
