i wouldnt recommend a paladin...they are low on life and is easily killed by melee monsters...
get a form shaping druid whit oak sage....then its really hard to die...btw are we talking hc?

shapshifter druids are good for noobs cause they can get alot of life at a low lvl and still deal good damage with a decent maul

If we are talking hc...any noob cant make a sorceress, the noobs die like flies when playing Sorceress..

Necromancer whit summons might be a good idea...but if they are going solo the Necromancer will have a hard time vs bosses.

thats true. sorcs are prob the cheapest char to make, since they dont need expensive gear to be effective (it helps tho)

lol noobs cant play hc or they get killed,after all is easy to cant be killed using map hack with auto exit on 1 life,quite good

i'd have to go with sorc for being best "newb" char, just because its a pretty good character without all the gear you need, you could get the cheap stuff or magical//rare orbs that give sorc skills

Lol hc is definitely dangerous but you kinda get a rush from it since its a challenging difficulty where you can die forever but you try not to.

if you want a cheap good dueler make a trapp assy they can be good even if they have shit gear...if you want to make a cheap good pvm id suggest probably a skelemancer because tehy dont really need gear at all..
