ladder is the best because all the non ladd ppl are all based on 290's and 3/20/20's its really annoying plus the new runewords are the best lol

I was around for awhile. Almost a year in the final days of .09 you could make a char drop on a white ring and gloves get a friend to rush normal nightmare and hell in about a hour. And you would never die. then turn on the cow bot and go to bed. Next day lvl 60 char. If it was a barb or sorc, switch to meph or pindle ( pindle was sorc only then ) and wake up once again to nat's mark a wf or SS all in one nights work. trade WF for 10 hex. put those on your assassin or something and do it all again.
Then .10 came and me the wife and of few of the EGBT said lets do ladder, Off and running. Druid was what i started. Not sure what happened. lost my non ladder acounts. egbt fell apart and i gave up.
Now i am back new ladder. had no clue it even started. I just was going though some box after we moved found the diablo2 box and said hey sounds great lets play. went to diabloII.net and found it very outdated. headed to the blizzard site and started reading. thats when i noticed the second ladder was here. must have been fate. only missed the first month.

id say ladder for everyone aint rigged and 1 thing its good about is taht u can get every liget item in the game ^_^ thats the best part.. and every body was not so godly that they would absorb everything.. lik in non ladder.. and if u r a freak u would b on the rankings ^_^.. and u can buy stuff with p gems so a poor guy would trade stuff with them and ppl can use pgems to craft and on ladder U CAN UPGRADE STUF!!!!!!!! yayayay thats the best part

yeah, i love the legit'ness, well stated, monkeyxt! also, i enjoy that there's a lot of friendly people on ladder who help out people who aren't as good as the game. that really helps someone like me. >.<

Just plain more stuff in general. I think Diablo 2's "fun level" would grow exponentially if they would update more frequently. More items, more runewords, more runes, more monsters...but blizzard only cares about their precious war3 =[.

i dont play ladder because it is really easy to get rich there cuz u can just do hell countess runs and get nice runes, but it is cheap and i dont like that...

Its fun. Finding ladder only items/runewords. Sure it betters the opportunity for botters, but it also keeps the botters outa non-ladder right?
