There is no way in hell i'm gonna get for WOW. First of all, my comp won't run it. And second, i'm not paying a godamn monthly fee. I'll pay for the game itself and thats it.

its very possible to make a WoW out of a custom wc3 map.. its VERY easy.. because all u gotta do is change the cam angle to behind u or make it look like ur seein through thier eyes and there u go

I think WOW will last quite awhile because you know how mmorpg's are they last a hella long time. look at EQ its been around for a longa *** time and people are really obsessed with it. i was watching a thing on tv and people get married from it all the time. form relationships and all this other bs. just imagine everymorning at like 6 am cuz the dudes are obsessed. Honey *talkin to cpu screen until wife in other state wakes up to play EQ too*. sc will last awhile becuz i dont think there will be a sc 2. if they do make one it would ruin the game for a few months IMO cuz i play use map settings play bounds and defences best part about it. if there is a new d which i doubt then we'd have a repeat of d1. and we will have like 3 ppl playing d1 instead lol.

I remember D1...I had it on the playstation...quite confusing actually, I was only wee...but you could do multiplayer without internet! Then again, I had to play it with my dad and he was pants on the rare occasion that he did pick up the controller...I still have it in the bottom of my wardrobe somewhere...saying that I might go and give it a spin now...

It sucked on PS. But I think Broodwar because it is just one of the best expansions for one of the best games ever made. And so many people still play it that I have high hopes that it will live.

I honestly think that Diablo3 IF it is ever to be released will probably last a long *** time, obviously people are still playing D1 and D2 just seems to getting more and more of a following even considering how crappy the last patch was and how b.net has been turning out lately.
Who knows though, SCF made a good point, EQ has been a round a damn long time and is still strong (or so I've heard), so WOW might actually surprise some people, but then again they will be coming out with EQ2 soon and Lineage seems to be sucking people in lately.
And on the topic of MMORPGs, who the F*CK heard we might have to pay for D3 if it ever comes out?? If that ever happens I will be personally blowing up blizzard headquarters.......or at least learning to hack servers and mess them up, I never thought blizzard would stoop so low as to make us bay for B.net and I was greatly disapointed to hear about WOW, but if they bring it over to Diablo there is going to be some seriously pissed people, I thought this was the last good "So-Called Free" Online RPG. *Deep Breath*Glad I got that outa my system all better now.
