I wish there was no duping. i know i know yell at me some more but it just ruins the economy. if you dupe sojs and trade them away eventually sojs wont be worth crap and you cant ever trade for sojs because chances are they will dissapear on you so it just ruins it.

the econnomy wouldnt get ****ed up......because right now an soj isnt worth shit do to the fact that the average person playin has had at least 10 sojs and that bots make them easy to get.......so to ur idea of the economy ....and if u dupe uber godlies that would drop the price making it very good for u to get to be uber godly.......but if i really had my way i would reset all of diablo 2 to make it all even and if u see the people who are lvl 90 in 2 days u know they have less of a life than u.....

Mass duping normal items is not possible because they dissapear, the only items like soj's can bew duped if it involves a "trade" dupe because these sort of dupes change the ID of the item so they don't "poof"

Runes can be duped because they can be upgraded and there itemID changes.
Runewords can be dupe by duping the item without the last rune placed in, then the item is duped and the last rune is put in and the item is permed.

This dupe will not give you jail time, blizzard dont have the time or resources to track every single person down. They'll just ban the accounts and cd-keys of the players involved.

Actually, they'll probably go ahead and catch you. Blizzard wants people to play fair, and duping isn't fair. Unlike alot of other game companies, Blizzard actually cares about service. I have no doubt they'll track down DoSers.

The cyber-cafe idea isn't safe at all. Most cyber-cafe's require some sort of identification. If they got contacted by blizzard, they'd point them to your direction.

I have nothing against dupers. If I had a safe dupe, I'd abuse it like mad. I just don't think anyone should risk jailtime for a dupe.

If this dupe crashes the server then I presume it will crash everyone on that ip, because I my game just crashed and when I re-entered the game had rolled back, or could this have just been a normal battle.net crash?
