It's more of a personal preference, anything can be the best, it depends on the equipment, and the skill of you.

I like cold the best.

yes, fire has more dmg, but can easily be absorbed and resist, whereas cold, does less dmg, but cold mastery makes the ice dmg peircing

i like meteorbs; fire (meteor, fball) and cold (frozen orb); i dunno why i just like it that way its cool in case u come across certain immunes you have a wider range of attacks; i know u can just get ur merc to take care of it but it still helpful to be able to personally attack and damage a wider range of monsters.

alfz: I play (or played) rs Big Grin. add bludspillah on rs. note: the sig was from rs forums Tongue

anyways, I think most ppl use some type of ice. Doesnt matter what their main for of attack is, they always use ice as a back-up or even as their killer. If your going for one full out class (ice, lightning, or fire) Ice would probably be the only one to work. Because of the cold mastery you dont have worry as much about immunes and resistances cause with maxed out mastery u'd still eat through them. Whereas fire would have a tough time hitting anything in hell.

blizz does most unresisted dmg, lightning is hard to aim for pvp, fb is fast but lowest dmg
