Impressive Armor/Weapons/Everything Else

Me and a friend started playing diablo 2 again lately(past 2-3 days). We played lan, then after that, we had one of us host it, and we'd play tcp/ip with just us two, over teamspeak.

Yesterday, we beat Diablo, then we got to the epilogue, then we decided to take a break. After awhile, I played a bit, and then an hour after that, he came back and showed me all this new armor and stuff. The armor's defense was over 2000, and his helm, boots, gauntlets, everything, was all incredibly powerful. He said he got his swords from beating Baal, but he wouldn't say where he got the other stuff. Before he jumped to 2000+ defense, we were both at like 175 defense. Since his armor/weapons/etc. are way too high for it to be challenging anymore, it's not fun to play with him, and playing by myself is just boring.

My question is, what did he do to get this stuff? He said he didnt use any hacks either....

Maybe he traded stuff for them, or got an xfer from another character to that one. That's the only legit way I can think of.

Well not really single player, it was mutl-player, but not B.Net It was tcp/ip games we always played.

Hacks are really the only thing that would make sense to me, I mean, he had nothing worth trading for all that stuff.

People just give away armor with 2300+ defense? (along with the other stuff)

I mean, sure, it could happen, but I wouldn't suspect this to be the case, especially since he wont tell me why. I figure he just hacked it.

on open i had a armor that had 20k def, a zerker that did 17k and others. you jsut have fun with hero editor. i also had like 26 auras.

Hero editor is a hack where you can obtain d2 stuff?hmmm

On tcp/ip games you can get anything just by using hero editor.

I have an open character that did almost a million umpreventable dammage, and equips that made me immune to all elemental magic, I walked as fast as you can teleport, and I had just about every skill in the game. Plus, whenever I died or hit someone, 100% chance to cast a whole ****tail of ugly spells at level 99.

And on open....I still lose duels. Your friend most likely hacked his char.

20k def not bad, back in 09 there was a white armor that had over 100k def
