Question about energy shield and warmth...

I have read a lot of suggestions about fire and cold builds!!!



In the original Diablo chain lightning was a major attack and also a spell that took from your mana instead of health when you took damage. So what role does ENERGY SHIELD and Chain lightning play in Diablo II?????



Also could someone explain how WARMTH is considered in Diablo II to me it seems to rule especially in combination with ENERGY SHIELD….am I so wrong???
