I like Star Wars better, just because it's absolutely classic, and I can still enjoy watching it. But I can't stand the new ones they made!

ya but w.o star wars there would be no technology to make LOTR star wars was a effects pionier and the amount of money u make doesnt mean the movie was bad or good take this into consideration 8 millon people bought the macarena cd so theres at least 8 million morons

LOTR would own, if u reverted star wars back to lotr technology or lotr to star wars tech then lotr would simply kick.
If ur comparing movies (screenplay etc etc) lotr STILL owns!!!!

If you compare the recent movies the last few star wars movies sucked *** but the lotr movies were good. the old star wars were good but since its 2004 i have to vote with the recent movies. lotr
